Web clipper for Anytype
Anytype is local-first and object-based, which makes it a natural home for clipped reading — but capturing web pages into it normally means manual copy-paste. Kliplet adds Anytype as a save target alongside Notion, Obsidian, Logseq, Joplin, Bear on macOS and Markdown, so a simplified article, full page, selection, or URL-only record can reach your space from one keyboard shortcut. Destination writes go from your browser to the tool you chose, the Kliplet extension ships no usage analytics, and ambiguous Anytype create failures stop instead of being replayed, which avoids silently creating duplicate objects. Separately, Alt+H stores page highlights locally and reapplies them on revisit.

Pick Anytype as the target in Options → Targets, then save with the Kliplet shortcut or the right-click menu.
What you can clip

Persistent local highlights
Alt+H stores passages locally and Kliplet reapplies them when you revisit the source page. They are not written to Anytype by default. A paid user can include them only by explicitly creating a custom template with {{highlights}}; optional paid sync uploads disclosed highlight records only after separate consent.
One workflow across tools
Because Kliplet supports seven targets, the same shortcut and template system send a page to Anytype today and Notion or Obsidian tomorrow — no separate clipper per app.
Private by default
Kliplet keeps clip history locally and ships zero analytics; the backend is involved only in payments, licensing and optional sync or AI features.

Can Kliplet save web pages to Anytype?
Yes. Anytype is one of Kliplet's seven save targets. Select it in Options, then clip a simplified article, full page, selection, or URL-only record with the Kliplet shortcut.

Is my clip content sent to Kliplet?
The Anytype destination write goes to its configured API endpoint. With the default loopback endpoint it stays on your device; a LAN or remote HTTPS endpoint receives the clip and credential if you configure one. If you enable AI, up to 12,000 characters of extracted clip text are separately sent to your chosen provider, directly with a BYO key or through the Kliplet proxy. The Kliplet extension ships no usage analytics.
What happens if a clip fails offline?
No. Kliplet does not durably replay Anytype writes because a lost create response could otherwise produce a duplicate object. Inspect Anytype before saving again. Only an eligible ordinary Obsidian text write whose exact vault path was resolved before its first request can enter Kliplet's local queue, with up to four automatic attempts. Screenshots and writes to Notion, Joplin, Logseq, Anytype, Bear, and Markdown are not replayed.
